Philippa Pride has been running creative writing courses since 2006, combining her skills as an NLP Coach with her inside knowledge of the publishing profession.
A commissioning editor for one of the major publishing houses in Britain before setting up her own business, The Book Doctor (R) and Creativity Coach, Philippa is described by Hodder & Stoughton’s CEO as having ‘a reputation as a talented spotter of new fiction, a creative editor with flair and vision, a nurturer of writers’ careers and a terrific champion of her authors both inside the business and to the outside world.’
Philippa continues her connection with Hodder as British editor for No. 1 worldwide bestselling author Stephen King. She is also the agent for Clever Dog: The Secrets Your Dog Wants you to Know by Sarah Whitehead.
Philippa is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Coach. She has also attended an introductory course on neuro-science and is a certified NLP Hypnotist. Philippa’s official Coach Training Programme was accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
